Upgrade pack 7 to upgrade to OpManager 7 & then Service Pack 1 for 7.0 for moving to the build 7100 & then Service Pack 2 for 7.0. |
Instructions to apply the Upgrade Pack/Service Pack
- Shut down OpManager. (If OpManager is running as a service, stop the service from Control Panel > Services window)
- Take a backup by executing the command <opmanager-home>/bin/backup/BackupDB.bat
- Run the script 'UpdateManager.bat (UpdateManager.sh for Linux) in the <opmanager-home>/bin folder. This opens the Update Manager tool.
- Click "Install" and then click "Browse" to select the Upgrade Pack file (the .ppm file that you'd downloaded).
- Follow the on-screen instructions to apply the Service/Upgrade Pack.
- Once the upgrade is complete, start OpManager Server.
Important Note
If you are using a build earlier to 5004, please contact OpManager Support to upgrade.
How can I find the Build number of OpManager?
- In the Web Client click the "About" link on top right of the page.
- You should see the Build number mentioned in the last line.
- Check the following image guide to locate the build number.
